美國平面設計協(xié)會（AIGA）從1924年開始舉辦“50佳圖書|50佳封面（50 Books|50 Covers）”比賽，旨在評選出過去一年里在書籍和封面設計上表現(xiàn)最出色的書，并永久錄入可訪問的AIGA平面設計收藏檔案庫中。目前該賽事已成為美國平面設計界歷史最悠久的比賽之一。

  本屆競賽的評委們對每件作品的綜合設計方式進行了評估，包括概念、創(chuàng)新，以及排版、插圖和信息設計等視覺元素方面的運用。6月22日，AIGA官網(wǎng)公布了2020年度“50 Books|50 Covers”的獲獎作品。本屆大獎共收到696個來自36個國家的作品，最終85件書籍及封面作品脫穎而出，其中有15件作品同時獲評最佳圖書和最佳封面。本篇收錄了50件獲獎的最佳圖書封面設計。
