2021“設計激活世遺”國際文創大賽于2021年6月12日正式啟動，2021年09月30日截稿。大賽吸引了海內外優秀的設計師及企業、機構、院校學生等設計愛好者，圍繞廣東省唯一的世界文化遺產“開平碉樓與村落”這一主題，創作、設計與開平有關的創意產品，并激勵參賽者用設計點亮生活，為僑鄉的文旅產業賦能。通過世遺文化與設計的嫁接，實現藝術性與實用性的統一，傳承和弘揚具有厚重底蘊的華僑文化。

2021 International Cultural & Product Innovation Design Contest themed on 'Revitalizing the World Heritage with Design' was officially launched on June 12, 2021, and ended submissions on September 30, 2021. The contest has attracted outstanding designers at home and abroad, as well as enthusiastic designer from enterprises, institutions, and college students. Around the theme of "Kaiping Diaolou and Village", the only world cultural heritage in Guangdong Province, the participants will create and design creative products related to Kaiping, and inspire the participants to light up their lives with their designs and empower the cultural and tourism industry in the hometown of overseas Chinese.Through the grafting of world heritage culture and design, the unification of artistry and practicality is realized, so as to Inherit and promote the overseas Chinese culture with profound heritage.

"Most Popular Award" online exhibition review voting is officially launched!

最受歡迎獎頒予所獲網絡熱度最高的作品。25份優秀作品將于2021年10月13日起進行展評，為期一周（即2021年10月19日24點截止投票），經統計后所獲票數最高的作品即獲最受歡迎獎。

Candidate works for the Public Prize are selected from the 25 outstanding submissions recognized by the expert jury, which will be exhibited and voted on the official channels of the contest from October 13, 2021 till24:00 on October 19,2021. The one with the highest number of votes wins the Public Prize. The results of the vote will be announced on October 20, 2021.
