  Urban-landscape integration involves the interweaving of multi-dimensional values:ecologically,it manifests as the organic integration of natural processes;culturally,it specifically focuses on China’s profound landscape traditions and their contemporary reinterpretation;functionally,it is expressed through the spatial synergy among various urban systems.Addressing this complex proposition calls for a practical example capable of embodying a distinct cultural philosophy while confronting real-world tensions.
  基于這一訴求，本屆中聯杯?全國大學生建筑設計競賽在登封市人民政府的大力支持下，以登封這座深具歷史智慧的千年古都為研究場域。此次探索延續了競賽對青年設計人才成長與中國城市發展的一貫關注，旨在引導學子們在功夫文化的發源地，展開兼具歷史洞察與未來視野的設計實踐。這不僅是一次立足當下的學術求索，更是一場面向未來的共同行動——期待通過設計的力量，為登封及同類歷史文化名城的永續發展，貢獻富有社會責任與人文關懷的青年智慧。
  In response to this appeal,this year's CUC Cup National University Student Architectural Design Competition,with the strong support of the Dengfeng Municipal People's Government,has selected Dengfeng—a millennium-old capital rich in historical wisdom—as its research context.This exploration continues the competition's long-standing commitment to nurturing young design talents and engaging with China’s urban development.It aims to guide students to conduct design practices that integrate historical insight with a forward-looking perspective at the birthplace of martial arts culture.More than an academic inquiry grounded in the present,this initiative represents a collective endeavor toward the future—through the power of design,it seeks to contribute socially responsible and humanistic youth wisdom to the sustainable development of Dengfeng and other similar historic and cultural cities.

  Henan Dengfeng is precisely such an ideal example of great depth:its cultural concept of"the Center of Heaven and Earth,"the unique topographical pattern of Mount Song,and its accumulated layers of historical memory together constitute an exceptional practical site and intellectual carrier for exploring the urban-landscape relationship under the philosophy of"Unity of Heaven and Humanity."

  01“天地之中”的哲學與地景文化：登封的自然格局（嵩山）與歷史建筑群（觀星臺、中岳廟等），是中國古代宇宙觀、禮制文化以及“天人合一”哲學思想的物質結晶。這里的“景”，是承載了哲學、天文與象征意義的“文化地景”，其“城景關系”本質上是自然秩序與人文秩序在空間上的對話與融合，是中國傳統地景營造理念的歷史先聲與原型參照。
  01 The Philosophy of"the Center of Heaven and Earth"and Landscape Culture:The natural configuration(Mount Song)and historical architectural complexes(such as the Ancient Observatory and Zhongyue Temple)in Dengfeng are material manifestations of ancient Chinese cosmology,ritual culture,and the philosophical thought of"Unity of Heaven and Humanity."The"landscape"here refers to a"cultural landscape"endowed with philosophical,astronomical,and symbolic significance.The"urban-landscape relationship"is essentially a spatial dialogue and integration between natural order and humanistic order,serving as the historical precursor and archetypal reference for traditional Chinese landscape-making concepts.
  02保護與發展的現實張力：作為全球聞名的功夫文化發源地，登封同時面臨著文化遺產保護、人文景觀守護與城市現代化發展、旅游消費升級之間的巨大張力。在當代發展中，“天地之中”的宏大敘事與日常城市功能之間出現了斷層，城與景從精神同構走向了空間疏離。
  02 The Practical Tension between Preservation and Development:As the world-famous birthplace of martial arts culture,Dengfeng also faces significant tension between the preservation of cultural heritage,the safeguarding of cultural landscapes,and urban modernization,as well as the upgrading of tourism consumption.In contemporary development,a disconnect has emerged between the grand narrative of"the Center of Heaven and Earth"and the daily functions of the city,leading the urban area and landscape to drift apart spatially from their former spiritual isomorphism.
  03重返和諧的深層需求：登封所追尋的“和諧回歸”，并非止于生態修復或景觀優化的表層工作，而是一場旨在達成“文化傳承”與“系統重構”的深刻實踐。這需要在當代語境下，對“天地之中”所蘊藏的和諧哲思進行創造性解讀，并以此為根本指導，系統性地彌合空間形態與文化脈絡之間的結構性割裂。
  03 The Deep-Seated Need for a Return to Harmony:Dengfeng’s pursuit of a"harmonious return"does not stop at superficial efforts such as ecological restoration or landscape optimization;rather,it constitutes a profound practice aimed at achieving"cultural inheritance"and"systemic reconstruction."This requires a creative interpretation of the harmonious philosophy inherent in"the Center of Heaven and Earth"within the contemporary context,and using this as a fundamental guide to systematically bridge the structural rift between spatial form and cultural context.

  Core Theme:Urban-Landscape Integration–Constructing the Landscape Nexus of the Thousand-Year Kung Fu Capital
  面對登封這一極具代表性的文化–空間樣本，本屆競賽提出“景觀中樞”作為核心設計概念。它特指：在登封當下復雜的城景關系網絡中，那些占據關鍵地理位置、兼具文化潛力，卻未能充分發揮效能，亟待通過設計進行價值激活、功能重構與體驗重塑的公共性空間節點。
  Facing Dengfeng as a highly representative cultural-spatial prototype,this competition proposes the"Landscape Nexus"as its core design concept.It specifically refers to public spatial nodes within Dengfeng’s current complex urban-landscape relational network that occupy critical geographical locations,possess cultural potential,yet remain underutilized.These nodes urgently require value activation,functional reorganization,and experiential reconstruction through design intervention.
  “景觀”：本命題中的“景觀”，特指融合了嵩山自然基底與“天地之中”歷史文化遺產脈絡的復合空間系統。它不僅是背景，更是與城市建成環境互動、滲透的活性結構性主體，其設計核心在于處理二者間的界面關系與空間耦合，踐行“天人合一”的傳統營造智慧。
  "Landscape":In this proposition,"landscape"specifically denotes a composite spatial system that integrates the natural foundation of the Songshan Mountains with the historical and cultural context of the"Center of Heaven and Earth"heritage.It is not merely a backdrop,but an active structural entity that interacts with and permeates the urban built environment.The core of its design lies in managing the interface relationship and spatial coupling between the two,practicing the traditional construction wisdom of"Unity of Heaven and Humanity."
  “中樞”：城景融合中集關鍵節點（空間交匯與功能協調）、文化界面（地景精神集中呈現）與動力引擎（推動景觀向城市肌理滲透轉化）于一體的戰略核心，承載著疏通隔閡、整合資源、激發持續活力的系統性作用。
  "Nexus":Serving as the strategic core of urban-landscape integration,it combines key nodes(spatial intersection and functional coordination),cultural interfaces(concentrated expression of landscape spirit),and dynamic engines(promoting the penetration and transformation of landscape into the urban fabric).It undertakes the systemic role of bridging divides,integrating resources,and stimulating sustained vitality.
  我們期待參賽者以“景觀中樞”為切入點與載體，進行一次深植于歷史文脈與地景智慧的創造性織補。設計方案應深刻理解“天地之中”遺產區的文化語境、精神內涵及中國傳統地景理念的哲學指向，并以此為基礎，提出兼具文化洞察力、空間創新性與實施可行性的綜合方案，使其成為重新聯結城市與自然、歷史與未來、人文與地景的活力紐帶與精神中樞。
  We expect participants to take the"Landscape Nexus"as both an entry point and a carrier for a creative act of weaving deeply rooted in historical context and landscape wisdom.Design proposals should demonstrate a profound understanding of the cultural context,spiritual connotations of the"Center of Heaven and Earth"heritage area,and the philosophical orientation of traditional Chinese landscape concepts.Based on this,proposals should present comprehensive solutions that embody cultural insight,spatial innovation,and implementability,transforming these nodes into vibrant linkages and spiritual cores that reconnect the city with nature,the past with the future,and human culture with the landscape.
  參賽者應以組委會后續發布的、基于登封真實地塊劃定的“景觀中樞”作為設計載體，通過專業且創新的設計思維，從以下一個或多個維度切入并給出切實回應，實現“真題真做”的設計實踐價值：
  Participants shall take the"Landscape Nexus"site—based on an authentic plot in Dengfeng to be released by the organizing committee—as their design vehicle.Through professional and innovative design thinking,proposals are expected to provide tangible responses addressing one or more of the following dimensions,thereby realizing the practical value of"authentic design for real contexts":
  ●文化深度與空間創新的統一：方案需立足對“天地之中”文化內涵的深刻理解，將其轉化為具有當代性的建筑語言，實現文化價值與空間創新的有機融合。
  ●Unity of Cultural Depth and Spatial Innovation:Proposals should be grounded in a profound understanding of the cultural essence of the"Center of Heaven and Earth,"translating it into contemporary architectural language that achieves an organic integration of cultural value and spatial innovation.
  ●精神場所與日常生活的交融：設計應同時營造具有精神性的沉思空間與充滿活力的公共領域，使神圣性與日常性在空間場域中達成和諧共生。
  ●Integration of Spiritual Venues and Daily Life:Designs should simultaneously create contemplative spaces of spiritual significance and vibrant public realms,enabling sacredness and everyday life to achieve harmonious coexistence within the spatial framework.
  ●技術創新與應用整合：方案應積極探索新興技術（如數字孿生、智慧生態、低碳材料、數字建造等）在空間感知、分析、設計與運維中的創新應用，展現從系統策略到在地實施的整體性技術整合路徑，確保設計構想具備前瞻性、可實施性與環境適應性。
  ●Technological Innovation and Application Integration:Proposals should actively explore innovative applications of emerging technologies(such as digital twins,smart ecosystems,low-carbon materials,digital fabrication,etc.)in spatial perception,analysis,design,and operation&maintenance.The design should demonstrate a holistic technical integration pathway—from systemic strategies to on-site implementation—ensuring that the conceptual vision possesses foresight,feasibility,and environmental adaptability.

  ●Practice-Oriented Approach of"Authentic Design for Real Contexts":All proposals must be grounded in actual site conditions and respect the historical-cultural context.They should present innovative and implementable spatial solutions,emphasizing the practical value of designs that address real-world challenges.
